PermitDB - Automated Permit Sheets

PermitDB utilizes a common Project Data Warehouse with AlignDB and PlatDB to automate the creation of Permit drawing deliverables (typically shown at important feature crossings) necessary for most Pipeline or Fiber Optic construction projects. Permit drawings are generated on a user-defined border with options for both plan and profile generation. The material information created in any of the applications in the Alignment Database Workgroup is utilized to generate the view of the material within the Permit drawing. These documents can be generated either as stand-alone or linked documents into a common base map.

Interfacing a CAD system with a Project Data Warehouse makes it possible to produce Permit Plats that match the same data displayed in both the Alignment sheets and the Property Plats. As a result PermitDB provides unparalleled speed, accuracy and flexibility. Some of the features of this approach are:
