A Seed File is a Microsoft Access formatted file designed to aid in maintaining company standards for pipeline projects. A Seed File provides a solid foundation for insuring complete and consistent project deliverables.

AlignFM is the second Seed File phase. It builds on a pipeline operator's basic seed file and defines minimal data requirements for project database deliverables. It is a service that results in visualization, review, and QA/QC reporting of pipeline data before loading into a final data repository.

Phase I (Basic) Seed File Includes:

• Drafting Standards: Symbols, Title Block, Fonts, Borders, Band Presentation, etc.
• Survey Codes (DDF)
• Event Categories: mapping domains – pipe, casing, coding
• Data Model Minimal Requirements

Phase II (AlignFM) Seed File Includes:

• Fields for loading
• Event Types
• Mapped and Constrained Data (BSDI_LD_event type)
• Queries from standard BSDI tables into new loading tables
